Taking a data centric approach all the way to the edge (ie/ on the aircraft or in the control station) combined with Zero Trust and ICAM - is key. With correct data tagging and access control, this approach rapidly accelerates multi-partner environment interoperability, and enables multi-department collaboration.

Solving Operational Problems with Today’s Technology: Launching the Apex Conference Series Part 1 25 Jan 2024 After decades of post–Cold War stability, rising multipolarity and emerging technologies have eroded America’s military dominance and made the world a more dangerous place. Wars in Ukraine and the Middle East highlight how outnumbered forces can use commercially derived drones, electromagnetic warfare systems, sensors, and satellite communications to gain a battlefield edge. Most concerning for the United States military, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) could soon dominate the Taiwan Strait following the PLA’s nearly unprecedented peacetime buildup. Washington and its allies can deter and defeat aggression in the future by harnessing the capabilities that Ukrainians are using to defend their homeland now. For example, a wide range of new companies are emerging to help US and allied forces exploit information and automation technologies. To realize the full benefits these technologies can provide, the US Department of Defense and its international counterparts will need to change how they develop operational concepts and acquire new systems.

#GlobalRadar #SoTF A new post in 📡Globla Radart analyzes Chapter Two of the Pact for the Future Second Revision. The reforms introduced in Rev-2 make clear that defining this Chapter's actions and decisions was a difficult word-by-word deal. In a general approach, Rev-2 seems to be more comprehensive than Rev-1. Nevertheless, many decisions are now less detailed than in Rev-1 (fewer details mean lower possibilities for a quick implementation), and some changes in wording result in weaker decisions. See a paragraph by paragraph analysis and the reasons behind my conclusions here: https://lnkd.in/dUDDTkdC
