We at GE Vernova hope you find a few moments to reflect on the rich history, heritage, resilience, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Canada on June 21, National Indigenous Peoples Day, and every day. During this important month, our teams expanded their understanding of Indigenous history and deepened their cultural awareness: • Teams from GE Vernova's Electrification businesses and GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy experienced the captivating "People of the Watershed" photography exhibit and viewed other Indigenous artwork at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. • We distributed pencil crayons and colouring books with Indigenous art at our Markham, Ontario and Brossard, Quebec sites to raise awareness among employees’ families. • Our Hydro Power team in Brossard hosted a fireside chat with David Acco; Chris Boisvert; Martin Courtemanche; GE Vernova's Chief Inclusion, Equity and Diversity Officer Reginald J. Miller; and Jennifer Tidmarsh to discuss the role of Indigenous Peoples in the future of energy security and abundance in Canada. • Employees experienced a virtual tour of the Potlatch Gallery at the U'mista Cultural Centre to learn about the artistic expressions of Coastal Salish peoples. Reconciliation begins with each one of us. I want to thank our teams for their continued commitment to creating a culture of inclusion and respect here at GE Vernova. Ferris Z.
