[𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟱𝟬] 140 years ago, Alland & Robert was founded following the encounter between chemist Francisque Alland and banker Alfred Robert. Several generations later, Alland & Robert continues to celebrate the magic of acacia gum, while adapting to today’s societal, economic and environmental challenges. Dare. Persevere. Innovate. The desire to move forward is an integral part of our DNA, which is helping us create our place in an increasingly carbon-free world. We are proud and determined to continue building a strong climate strategy. To achieve this, over the past 15 months, our different teams have been working with experts from ekodev using the Accelerate Climate Transition (ACT) method. Athian Scientific Advisory Board member Dr. wei liao explains how sustainability opens doors for integration and meaningful contribution. “With sustainability, we redraw the boundary of those industry operations,” Liao said. “For example, we can use the manure from animal agriculture to produce energy – that links the animal industry to the energy industry. I had a message from Kaj Embrén in the inbox in the spring saying: "I would like you to do a podcast together with you and the journalist from "The New Yorker" Elizabeth Kolbert" based on the article she wrote in the paper (https://lnkd.in/e_y7zGZh)". Yes you are correct, the pod is about phosphorus and was recorded almost a month ago but published today. Ragn-Sells contribute with solutions on the nutrient challenge with both phosphorus and nitrogen and by that can converts todays wastewater treatment plants into future resource plants (EasyMining innovations). But we also have solutions to collect the fish poo that both will produce energy and recirculated nutrients in Norway, enabling the fish industry to grow with a improved environmental footprint. Ragn-Sells AS are leading this innovative work that will enable the increase of foodproduction from the aquaculture, all in line with FAO prediction what is needed. FAO says we need to tripple the food production from the aquaculture in order to supply the growing population with food. By 2050 we will probably become10 billion according to UN and with growing number of cities. When we set out on creating MOBIOSTIM, we applied scientific research on plant immunity and how plants grow to create a natural product that farmers and crops need, achieving both increased economic and environmental sustainability. In harnessing the ingenuity of nature as the strength behind our innovations, we unlocked an Immunity-Health-Growth formula from our MO Trees to enhance a plants natural physiological processes, ultimately increasing farm profit margins. The more MOBIOSTIM product that is in demand the more trees we plant.

Partnerships are essential for the green transition 🚀🌍🌱 If we are to succeed in the green transition of the agricultural and food sector, we need to focus on the entire value chain and not just individual actors. We need to create partnerships across the value chain, and we need to manage the large amounts of data flowing from the farmer at one end to the consumer at the other. This is by no means easy, and there are plenty of challenges. Fortunately, there are also more and more examples of successful partnerships, where actors come together to solve the climate challenge. These were some of the key points in my presentation at yesterday’s event Food, Trends & Sustainability 2024 held at Agro Food Park in Aarhus. In the presentation, I also talked about SEGES Innovation's projects ZeroEmission, FutureBeefCross and LowClic as good examples of complex partnerships focusing on the entire value chain.
