⬇ Transparency about #governance roles being recruited is a first step! 💡 Next step would be to ensure a #blindaudition. Take away the diversity & identification markers, and get the committee to check their all their #biases at the door when reviewing the papers. 💡 #bias can be positive or negative, from Halo to Confirmation to Recognition to In-Group or Out-Group, etc. 💡 Even better would be to have 2 independent members that are not part of the machine room to work along side the in-house commmittee for checks and balances. #governance #transparencymatters #beyondbias #independentmember #checksandbalances
