Gear Research Center (FZG)’s Post

Our team comprising Dr. Thomas Tobie, Niklas Blech, Prof. Karsten Stahl, Daniel Vietze, Sascha Rommel, and Prof. Dr. h.c. Bernd-Robert Höhn Höhn (f.l.t.r.) participated at the 2023 AGMA Fall Technical Meeting (FTM) in Detroit, USA. Prof. Höhn gave a presentation entitled “How Many Speed Ratios for Electric Cars?”. Our researchers presented their latest results on the influence of precipitation conditions on the performance of carbonitrided and low-pressure carburized gears, non-linear analysis of gear-fatigue-damage under variable load, and on the influence of overloads on the fatigue strength of case-hardened gears, respectively. #tum #fzg #AGMA #FTM2023
