When I first joined Skill Aid Empower India Foundation , I was filled with curiosity and excitement, eager to explore new opportunities. What I didn’t anticipate was just how many doors SAEIF would open for me—across fields I never thought I’d delve into.
One of the highlights of my journey was attending the prestigious FICCI Annual Ship Program. It was an eye-opening experience where I interacted with leaders from various industries, gained insights into global innovation, and deepened my understanding of real-world challenges and solutions.
Through SAEIF, I’ve explored so much more than my own field of psychology. From understanding the intricacies of FMCG and consumer behavior to gaining perspectives from industry experts, this platform has helped me connect the dots across disciplines.
The journey gave hands-on exposure to areas like entrepreneurship and consultancy. These experiences bridged the gap between theory and practical application, empowering me to take bold steps toward my goals.
Another unforgettable moment was my one-on-one interaction with a renowned movie critic. Conversations like these don’t just teach you about cinema—they help you develop critical thinking, sharpen communication, and broaden your perspective across fields.
The supportive community at SAEIF has been the driving force behind all these incredible experiences. It has inspired me to think bigger, work smarter, and explore paths I never thought possible.
And now, we are just one day away from the launch of SAEIF's Community Club! To anyone considering joining, this is your moment. SAEIF is more than a club—it’s a platform that builds skills, creates connections, and leaves a lasting impact on your personal and professional journey.
Let’s continue learning, growing, and inspiring together. I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us!

This is excellent news and makes me proud as an alumnus of this esteemed institute. I would like to share my personal view on what makes SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research unique, irrespective of rankings.
I vividly remember when I had started applying for SPJIMR back in 2018. And in an instant, I could notice that it was different. While the form had the usual fields for education, work experiences, it also had a part B that asked questions like:
1. My biggest achievement at work
2. How did I resolve conflict with my manager?
3. What is one memory in my life that is close to my heart?
4. What was one moment where I went above and beyond?
5. Mention an incident where you helped out another person
Essentially, this form also assesses a candidate based on their human values in addition to their educational and work achievements, giving a holistic profile, who get shortlisted for SPJIMR's unique profile-based calls.
Even during the interviews, you are asked questions that test your empathetic skills, social sensitivity, ethical inclinations and overall psychological profile in addition to the usual management principles. There is no right answer here, but the approach on getting to the answer is where you get evaluated against SPJIMR values and culture.
Throughout my time at the campus, these values have been reflected at every step. From my experience, empathy, social sensitivity and innovation are core values that are inculcated through various aspects of the program, whether it's the world-class design thinking course, which puts us into the user's perspective or the 4-day Personal Growth Lab (that was critical to our development) or Development of Corporate Citizenship, where we build social sensitivity. It's a carefully curated curriculum that not only grows the manager in us, but also the human being.
And while not every course added value, it did move the needle a little bit in the right direction, enough to make an impact down the line!

From underdogs to champions: Our MBA comeback story! 🏆
Last Friday (28th)I missed the "League of Nations" competition on International Tourism Day. Watching from the sidelines, I saw our first-years outshining, even snatching away the prize while dusting the second year away. It felt like the legacy of us second years was slipping away. But very honestly, it was time for us seniors to step up our game!
Fast forwarding to Saturday night. Just as I was ready to head home for the weekend after a very long week, news broke about the "Startup Success Chronicles" competition. At first, I hesitated. Compete against the first-years? Though what challenge could they pose?
But curiosity won. Our team formed overnight ,fueled by determination (and lots of coffee and noodles for the whole night!). We chose a bold topic: tackling the stigma around menstruation in India through Menstrupedia. With a female teammate to provide crucial insights, we crafted a powerful presentation.
The kick in all this? A 30-second disclaimer to set the tone for our sensitive topic which gave fair sense of our statements not being taken in any other way than they intent to do so.
But in the end, was it all worth it? Well yeah! We won! 🎉
And for the juniors: Never underestimate the power of experience, teamwork, and tackling important issues. Second-years, we've still got it!
Proud of our midnight oil-burning crew and excited for our next challenge!
