First things first, who is Takashi Murakami ?
Takashi Murakami is a renowned Japanese artist known for blending traditional Japanese art with pop culture, who has collaborated with iconic brands like Louis Vuitton and artists like Kanye West.
In 2021, he entered the NFT space with RTFKT, which was acquired by Nike shortly after the launch of their collection CloneX.
Takashi Murakami designed traits for the collection in his iconic style, as well as fashion items including rare Murakami Drip Air Force 1 sneakers.
In 2022, Murakami released Murakami Flowers, an NFT collection featuring his iconic flowers inspired by Japanese TV games in the 1970s.
