Over 20 titles are set to redefine the gaming industry ✨ Keep an eye on these gems: METALCORE, SHRAPNEL, Pirate Nation, Dead Pixels Online, and Big Time Studios . They're building and paving the way for what's next in Web3 gaming. 🕹 Web3 gaming's infrastructure is now robust, tackling key issues: seamless social logins, mobile app store compliance, and fluid asset transfers across a vast ecosystem. Behind this evolution are infra giants like Immutable, HyperPlay, and READYgg. integrating with multiple blockchains, app stores, and other games has never been easier and more cost-effective. They're the heroes making the magic happen 🪄 🕹 Dedicated blockchains are bringing almost free gas fees, high scalability, and a layer of features tailor-made for gaming. The web3 gaming is dead, long live the web3 gaming! This was the main narrative of yesterday's panel discussion with Andrii Bobniuk and Miroslav Naskov at the HIT Games Conference Barcelona event I was honored to moderate. We've witnessed the epic rise and fall of the innovative (as the consensus was at that moment) play-to-earn concept. Now this noticeably more mature industry is actively seeking sustainable economic models and user acquisition vehicles. Here are my 5 takeaways from the discussion: - Developers, investors, and blockchains still believe in web3 gaming and money is in place to support hard-working teams and good ideas. - UI and UX should be a priority. The latest tech like account abstraction protocols is helping a lot. - Creator economy should become a noticeable part of web3 gaming to drive horizontal organic user acquisition. - Innovative monetary vehicles like native yield can unlock new types of game<>user interaction and provide developers with a steady income while keeping users on the safe side regarding their funds. - We are still very early (as HGC is not a web3 event, it is clear how many brilliant game developers are there who haven't even thought of entering this space which is crying for new high-quality titles). The gaming landscape evolves constantly, which means new trends emerge monthly. Here at Sidus Heroes, we keep our hand on the pulse, and we had a hunch early on that Telegram-based clickers are going to be the next big explosion in Web3 gaming. I had the privilege of being invited to speak on a panel at #ProofofTalk Summit in Paris yesterday, where Ingo, Mickey, Mark, and I discussed how to Unlock Real-World Value in #Web3. We touched on many aspects of the challenges and the opportunities, including: 🙋♀️ The need for the industry to focus the players… on the value created for the end-user, not the pure technology innovation. Technology needs to remain behind the scenes, solving meaningful problems and creating real opportunities. 🪴 The notion that, at least for the #videogames use-case, adding web3 technology to AAA game experiences unlocks the ‘open garden’ concept, which traditional technology (like databases) cannot accomplish. 📈 The desire to grow the size of the pie by pushing the industry to move beyond pure hype projects and use-cases, and into ‘value-based’ projects. 🚀 Here is my shameless plug for an enormous value-based project called Mythical Games, Mythos Foundation, and the Polkadot community! Together, we are about to show the world that Mythical Games is the largest (and first) game platform company in the world to unlock advanced marketplaces with web3 technology in mainstream games!
