Overcoming perfectionism. Both of these tips will sound or feel counter-intuitive, but I swear they can work. Benig able to engage with your inner critic with kindness (as I spoke about last week), will help you figure out where your criticisms are coming from, and where there's something useful to take from them and when you need to ignore them. Second: do something just for fun. How do you talk to yourself when you don't have the pressure of performing for other people?
