**🚨 Breaking News:** Bloomberg reports that bullish bets on Ethereum (ETH) are dominating the options market as the SEC changes its stance to allow ETH spot ETFs. ETH saw a 26% weekly rise, the largest since 2021, with options market betting on ETH surpassing $5,000. The spread between ETH and BTC volatility indices is at its highest since 2023. While open interest in CME ETH futures is rising, it still lags behind BTC, indicating potentially lower demand for ETH. Noelle Acheson suggests institutional interest in the ETH spot ETF may be lower than expected, possibly leading to disappointing fund inflows 📈🪙📊 #Bitcoinworld

In the medium term, ETH is forecasted to outpace BTC in growth, and ETH futures remain attractive despite recent yield declines. The markets have turned, as the 19b-4 files have been approved for the Ethereum ETF. This has also changed the risk appetite in the markets, as taking a higher level of risk is a great approach moving forward, especially if you’re looking for more exposure within the Ether ecosystem. That’s why I’ve made a new update on YouTube for Finance Forward #9, which will entail an altcoin portfolio that I’m currently holding. Watch the latest update here: https://lnkd.in/e3J-n2Cr

🔍 Andrew Kang, co-founder of Mechanism Capital, analyzed that fund inflow into the ETH spot ETF is expected to be lower than market expectations. He cited the sudden approval, lack of time for issuers to persuade existing ETH holders, and the need for ETH spot holders to forgo staking and DeFi yields as reasons for the ETF's reduced attractiveness. Kang predicted ETH to trade between $3,000 and $3,800 before the ETF launch, and between $2,400 and $3,000 post-approval, assuming BTC reaches $100,000 by year-end or early next year. Despite breaking an all-time high, the ETH/BTC pair is expected to decline further. 📉 #Bitcoinworld
