This is the 2023 performance of the #SP500 and #Bitcoin. The winners we're seeing are #nonprofits who consistently present crypto and stock options in their fundraising appeals (capital campaigns, direct mail, events, etc.).
Takeaway: If it's not on the menu, no one's going to order it.
Nonprofits who make it easy to give crypto and stocks will continue to siphon young, high net worth donors away from organizations that make it hard to give.
Takeaway: Could you bury the option to give with a credit card in your Get Involved menu, then ask donors to download a PDF, enter their card details and email it to you? Sure you could. Would you lose donors to the nonprofits with a giving form? Of course you would. So don't make the same mistake with crypto and stock donations, where the gift sizes are far higher.
