This is a bit out of my comfort zone as it ventures into entirely new territory for me. I've just launched my very first book: "Design Unlocked - Navigating a Career in Industrial Design," now live on Kickstarter! 🔗https://lnkd.in/eMGhj7d2 After over two decades in the design world, I realised something was missing when I first started out; a guide that could help demystify the path of an industrial designer. This book is my attempt to bridge that gap for those embarking on this creative and challenging career. It's not about detailing personal successes; it's about sharing insights I've gained, understanding the design process, career pathways, working in the industry, challenges, and building essential relationships. This project pushed me well beyond my comfort zones. Writing obviously isn't my day job, and I'm under no illusion that this will be a literary masterpiece. Instead, my focus was to reflect on the insights I've gained and share these in a way that could genuinely support and inspire new designers. Whether you're just curious about the field or are already on your design journey, this book could be of interest to you. Check out the Kickstarter to get your copy and help bring this project to life! #DesignUnlocked #IndustrialDesign #Kickstarter #NewBookRelease #DesignEducation #CareerGuidance

Co-Founder Dot + Dash Consulting | Service Designer | Certified facilitator of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method and materials | Certified Facilitator AI Design Sprints™️
A snapshot of my business model canvas from earlier this year. Using Lego®️ Serious Play ®️ helped me visualise exactly how I wanted things to emerge for my personal venture. This part of the model signifies the first steps of providing value to others even from the shortest workshop sessions. I 😍 how visual this technique is, and how you don’t know what you are building until you start putting seemly random pieces together. Then the story emerges… Taking one small focused step at a time.. rather than overwhelming leaps! #workshopfacilitator #entrepreneursmindset #legoseriousplay

Business Consulting | Innovation Facilitator | Brand-in-a-Box Experiences | Leadership | Brand Evolution Management workshops
I was asked yesterday to share our Success Roadmap Canvas so here it is. In my experience not everyone finds it easy to define what success is to them. Interestingly I have found people find it easier to describe their roadblocks to success. Sometimes it’s easier to start with what’s holding you back before you can look at where you want to go. Identifying ideas on how to move forward from the roadblocks can be less daunting than defining success for some—and if that’s you—my advice is to define what success looks like to you last when completing this canvas. I love using these one page canvases as part of LeadinGrowth’s toolkit, along with frameworks, games, LEGO and Brand-in-a-Box to help clients move forward.

CEO and CPO at Toolza, a business management platform | Co-Founder at DDSTGroup, a holding networking company in the affiliate and digital marketing space
I launched my first business at 17. It was a shirt-printing gig with a friend’s printer and a machine I made myself from two ironing boards. Our initial investment was the money I saved from family holidays. It didn’t last long though. My then-partner, a teenager he was, recklessly spent our first hard-earned money. So, we parted ways. The story of my youthful business venture left me with two insights: ➜ Business isn’t possible without like-minded people. In my early twenties, I was lucky to meet Dmytro Shevchenko, a partner who shared my vision and values. We managed to build a relationship based on trust and it became the foundation for our numerous ventures. The most successful one was, undoubtedly, the DDST Group, a 3-company holding offering cutting-edge marketing services. When our active participation in DDST was no longer needed, Dmytro and I came up with another business together — Toolza. ➜ Curiosity is a friend of innovation. Engineering a printing press in my home at 17 fueled my curiosity and taught me to find innovative solutions. I pursued engineering education, learning more and more about the tech realm and always trying to simplify complex concepts. As was my love of technology: in 2017, I dedicated a year to learning about ERP – and now it’s a foundation for our new product Toolza. These two lessons gave me the strength to pursue new challenges. Сan’t wait to see where they take me next! 💪

Head of Design, Experience Strategy, Product Design Leader, Creative Strategy, Visionary, Design for Good, Team Activator, Speaker
Thrilled to share a major milestone achieved by the incredible team at Classy! Today marks the launch of our groundbreaking Campaign Studio, a game-changer for our nonprofit clients as they craft impactful campaigns. Reflecting on our journey since my arrival almost two years back, it's clear: we've undergone a remarkable transformation. It's easy to think about all the things we still want to do, but want to spend a moment to celebrate how far Design has come. At the heart of this evolution lies our design ethos, reshaping not just how we look, but how we operate. Design isn't merely aesthetics; it's a force driving growth. We've adopted a "shift-left" approach, we're not just creating products, we're crafting experiences that resonate and not just at the surface level. Some of the tools that helped us: -implementing a design system -integrating human-centric research tools -prioritizing accessibility -designing with purpose mindset shifts. This accomplishment is a testament to the collaborative spirit at Classy. While it truly takes a village to bring such a vision to life, I want to extend special recognition to the team of designers. Together, we're raising the bar in our industry, and what a great industry to do this for. Grateful for the unwavering support as we continue to push boundaries and redefine what's possible. Here's to the journey ahead--because there's so much to do! 🚀 #DesignInnovation #TeamWork #MilestoneAchievement You can see a little bit here with our marketing team put together for it:
