We would like to invite you to join an upcoming online meeting that will be devoted to the Health&Beauty Forum. Next Wednesday at 16:00 I will provide details about the event 2024. 🖥 This short Zoom meeting (30 min) will be useful to those of you who consider women (especially foreigners living in Cyprus) as your target audience. We have organised the Health&Beauty 10 times so far. More than 3000 people visit the event, 80% of them are expats, 90% of visitors are women. Next year we'll introduce a B2B segment as well. We booked an aditional 400 sqm room for this function. 12 companies from 12 different fields will meet professional participants (doctors, beauticians, hairdressers, etc). Meeting Intelligence - From Knowland. Note: if healthcare is a target market, keep your eye on San Diego. "The city took the top spot for year-over-year growth in group business for December 2023. Knowland, a provider of data-as-a-service insights on meetings and events for hospitality, released the top market performance numbers for December 2023. San Diego came in at No. 1, with the highest meeting volume improvement with 29.2% year-over-year growth. Coming in a close second was San Francisco, where event volume increased 21.5%, "a positive sign the industry is bouncing back in the cities by the bay," Knowland wrote. The company also said San Diego’s healthcare event business segment doubled, and its pharmaceutical/biotechnology events tripled from last year. Much of this meeting activity was held in the first half of the month. The top market experienced an average number of attendees of 198. The other cities rounding out the top five: Seattle, Orlando, and Miami." #speaking #speakers #speakingbusiness

In digital health, conferences need to be an important part of your go-to-market strategy. Not because of what it’ll do for you this year, but because of what it’ll do for you when you still exist in 4 years. I once worked for a digital health company who rarely attended conferences. As a virtual care company, we didn’t attend ATA, we didn’t ever attend HLTH or VIVE, no booths at HIMSS, never attended Beckers. Then, in 2022, I attended HIMSS while I was working for Panda Health. I walked up to a senior sales leader of Amwell and asked if they knew who the company was. The virtual care company I used to be at would have considered Amwell a legitimate competitor. Yet, they had no clue who the company was. It’s hard to build a brand in digital health. Attending conferences shows the industry you’re a member of the community. You’re putting in the effort to be in the conversation. When your competitors customers leave a meeting at their booth, they walk down the hall and see your booth. The next year they stop by to learn more about what you do. The following year they’re attending the conference as your customer. Showing up and being in the conversation year after year shows you’re someone to know. Because if you don't - your competitors are a step ahead. #DigitalHealth #Partnerships #Conferences
