#ProudMoment! The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has awarded us up to a $200M grant to help with the energy needs for disadvantaged Puerto Rico residents and support #CleanEnergy jobs through their Puerto Rico Energy Resilience fund. #Generac has been providing backup power solutions to Puerto Rico for more than 20 years - even after Hurricane Maria left 95% of the island without electricity. This is a great opportunity to make an even bigger impact for the island by working with local installers and businesses on the ground to uplift the workforce and economy. "We are proud to be a recipient of this DOE grant which will enable us to provide clean, resilient, efficient power for those who are often underserved during outages," says President and CEO Aaron Jagdfeld.
Congratulations to Generac on this significant achievement! Receiving up to $200M from the U.S. Department of Energy to support Puerto Rico’s energy resilience is a testament to your long-standing commitment to the island. Your work, especially following Hurricane Maria, has already made a substantial impact. This grant will enable further collaboration with local installers and businesses, boosting both the workforce and the economy. How do you plan to implement these initiatives to ensure maximum benefit for Puerto Rico's residents and the clean energy sector? 🌟🔋🌞
