BREAKING: The Japan Coast Guard signed a contract for the purchase of two SeaGuardian remotely piloted aircraft, scheduled to deliver in 2025. This follows the JCG's lease of SeaGuardian since 2022, during which the system conducted many successful missions. “Since JCG started operating SeaGuardians, they have been used for various JCG missions including supporting search and rescue and disaster response specifically during the 7.6 magnitude earthquake early this year near the Noto Peninsula of Ishikawa Prefecture and maritime surveillance during the 2023 G-7 Summit in Hiroshima, and the system has performed efficiently and effectively,” said GA-ASI CEO Linden Blue. After leasing these drones since 2022 and using them in key situations like the earthquake near Noto Peninsula and monitoring the 2023 G-7 Summit, it's clear they’ve made a real impact. This move boosts Japan's disaster response and security efforts, proving that investing in advanced drone tech is a smart choice for keeping people safe.

Impressive technology, great paint job and beautiful scenery below. Could be an advertisement for JAL.

That’s great news. The more that it’s used, the more interest there will be.
