We don’t have rules we have accountability to ourselves and each other, that drives best practice, ambition and doing the right thing, always making a WFW decision on everything. I wont do the naff, ‘we have smashed target by 800%’ (what must the target have been btw & who set it!) or have a turnover tea party but the company & individual growth has been awesome, these are a few of the things I loved this year – - Implemented our internal timesheet portal - We all added every single minor win on out Teams group and bigged each other up - We added all the loses/frustrations on our Teams group and still bigged each other up - First company trip abroad to Lisbon - Added 3 new legends to the Squad - We raised £4k towards our £6k target for our charity partner Designability – we will smash this early 2024. - A Spartan Race - Tackled the Yorkshire 3 Peaks and won! - Kept that ledger looking pretty sweet all year, some great paying clients - 88.3% of clients gave us 5 out of 5 on reviews - 97.7% of candidates placed gave us 5 out of 5 reviews - Implemented our Mental Health & Wellness app for all our Contractors - Held our first community Education & Well-being webinars - Went live on our custom-built CRM compliance plug-in - So many relationships with new Schools, that we helped because others couldn’t - Some fancy things bought by the guys from their well-ness allowance, a foot spa, lots of Huel, Coffee Machine, Nutri-bullet, Dance lessons and spa days! - A wedding - A broken nose - A baby on the way - Some new teeth - & 2 new dogs Thanks to Luke Carnell for always reigning me in! For Big Fish Recruitment, the less said about 2023 the better. There were still plenty of deals to be had but it was a slooogg, although had a mental December with 3 big deals.
