The National Insulation Association (USA) and the Foundation for Mechanical Insulation Education, Training, and Industry Advancement have jointly initiated a groundbreaking study, marking a historic milestone in the mechanical insulation industry. This study aims to assess the influence of mechanical insulation systems on diminishing energy demand and mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, a subject never before explored comprehensively in the industry's history. The findings of this study underscore the pivotal role that mechanical insulation systems can play in supporting our nations and businesses in reaching and sustaining their decarbonization objectives. While the study does highlight significant and evident savings, its primary emphasis is on showcasing the potential for even greater savings if mechanical insulation systems are acknowledged as a well-established and readily available decarbonization technology, ready for immediate implementation.
