🔋#NMC811 is a high-energy-density cathode material that has been widely used in power batteries and large-scale energy storage systems in recent years. With its excellent performance indicators, it has become one of the preferred cathode materials for current #pouch batteries. The use of #NMC811 cathode in soft-pack batteries mainly has the following advantages: High energy density The theoretical specific energy of NMC811 can reach up to 270 Wh/kg, which is a significant improvement compared to traditional #NMC523 and other materials. This helps to improve the overall energy density of the battery pack, meeting the demand for high energy density applications. Good safety performance NMC811 has relatively good thermal stability and electrochemical stability, and it performs well under abnormal conditions such as overcharging and over-discharging, which is beneficial to improving the overall safety of the battery system. Relatively low cost Compared to nickel-cobalt-based cathodes, NMC811 has a lower cobalt content, resulting in lower manufacturing costs, which is advantageous for controlling the overall cost of the battery pack.
