Outside the box marketing: Be distinct or become extinct -- SO you make tomato sauce, so do 30 others. A seriously hungry eater at a local restaurant is going to put whatever ketchup is given to him on his chips. Remember “better” boils down to three factors: more benefits, less risks, and/or less effort. All are unique to the person deciding” (Sam Manfer).>https://bitly.ws/3eZN3

Z. Peter Sawicki & James L. Young present this fun piece about FOOD TRUCKS: A food truck owner usually wants a food truck name (service mark) that is suggestive of the type of food being made and sold (without being merely descriptive of that product), that is easy to remember, and that is usually fun (or punny) in some way. https://lnkd.in/gNnfz79G

I really admire so much of what Heinz do with their advertising. Why? They do two things brilliantly: 1 - start with a real/true consumer insight relevant to their brand and products (a true insight that isn’t obvious until brought to your attention 😉) 2 - consistent use of incredible distinctive assets built over the years
Do you always wait for the sauce before digging in? A new ad created by Chilean creative agency 1984 for Kraft Heinz celebrates that 70% of people will happily hold out for irrational lengths of time for condiments before eating a meal. “Nothing says ‘true love waits’ like a hungry diner willing to hold off eating until their ketchup arrives. It’s this simple, yet very real insight that inspired our latest campaign ‘The Wait,’” says George Buneder, CMO at The Kraft Heinz Company. So, how long would you wait? This week is National BBQ week did you know? You can’t beat a sausage on the barbecue on a warm Summer’s day with friends or family. That said, standing around it cooking for hours and then the eating is all over within minutes. Does your marketing need some fire and heat put into it? Is your marketing done in a fair weather way just like a bbq? Is your marketing one track like sausages, or do you offer a range of things to suit your audience, like sausages, burgers, kebabs, wings and corn on the cobs? Does your marketing have leftovers, or is it all consumed by your audience each and every time! If you need someone to take control of the tongs and charcoal, we are here to help! Come to me, Nicoal Martin https://lnkd.in/dk6AkTPi #marketing #marketingsupport #discoverycall #bbq #nationalbbqweek

Global Intellectual Property Counsel Protecting Brands & Fighting Fakes | ⭐ Trademarks, Copyrights, Patents, Contracts, Brand Protection, Anti-Counterfeiting, Litigation | ⭐Consumer Products, Retail, Entertainment, Tech
Kraft Heinz came up with a genius way to help consumers identify real vs fake Heinz ketchup. The authentic Heinz ketchup is an “unmistakable” Pantone red color. Many restaurants refill Heinz ketchup bottles. So Heinz added the color to its bottles to help customers spot the difference between real and fake Heinz ketchup. The results were incredible, 97% of consumers could spot the difference. There are many creative authentication tools brands can use to fight fakes. This one was pretty genius collaboration between legal and marketing. #heinz #heinzketchup #fightfakes #trademarklawyer #iplawyer #brandprotection #copyrightlawyer #iplaw #iplawyers

🌟 Obsessed with this campaign! Here's why: Inclusivity Matters: Even in seemingly trivial matters like a regional condiment choice, inclusivity is key. This campaign embraces diversity and celebrates different preferences or.... tourists. Grounded Marketing: It's evident the marketing team is tuned in to the community. This campaign leverages an understanding of a cultural change, that purposely left Heinz out of the conversation. Adorable and Functional: Beyond just being cute, the campaign cleverly uses the way that we would use their iconic glass bottle and highlights the logo crest. Less is more. A perfect 10/10! Kudos to the team behind this brilliant campaign! 🎉 #Marketing #Inclusivity #CreativeCampaigns (but for the record: Ketchup does not belong on a Chicago hot dog lol )
Chicagoans are famously averse to putting ketchup on hot dogs, with some restaurants declining to serve the condiment altogether. Now, Heinz is punching back with billboards launching today that dispense ketchup packets outside well-known Chicago hot dog stands.
