Taking Passionate Professionals to the Next Level | Risk Taker | Coach | Speaker | Attorney | Educator | Career Pivot Expert
Lawyers as leaders. Spoiler alert: if you're an attorney, then this is YOU! And you can get support - just check out tomorrow's amazing info session all about the Leadership Academy. Through the very nature of the profession, lawyers are often seen as leaders simply because they are practicing law. The good news: you can take that leadership role and grow it in the way that works best for you. The bad news: You definitely don't get leadership training in law school. However, in 2022, the SDCBA launched a flagship program to support leadership development specifically for attorneys. Now entering into its fourth cohort, the Leadership Academy equips attorney members with essential skills and relationships to be effective leaders within the legal profession and the community as a whole. As Chair of the SDCBA's Leadership Academy, I have the privilege of observing and supporting lawyers on their leadership journey through the Academy. If you want to know more, register for tomorrow's in-person info session. I want to see you apply.
You’re invited to the 2025 Leadership Academy Information Session on Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 5:30 p.m. Learn about how leadership skills can accelerate your growth, and network with Leadership Academy Alumni at our new bar center! Join us at this event to learn why the Leadership Academy is right for you. RSVP here! https://lnkd.in/gDn6sHJZ

Reimagining working motherhood & leadership Mother • Director of Procurement • Founder • 360° Wellness•People-first Leadership•Growth🧠
Motherhood is the ultimate leadership training ground! ⭐ Recently, at a talk on negotiation and influence, someone joked that having kids is the best negotiation practice, I couldn’t agree more. Any mom with a toddler knows even snack time can turn into a full-on negotiation 😂 But beyond that, motherhood naturally sharpens so many leadership skills we don’t always give ourselves credit for, skills that can elevate how we show up at work. Yet, so many women doubt their leadership potential after becoming moms. What if we started seeing motherhood as our own personal leadership bootcamp? Happy Friday! 🌟 #Leadership #WorkingMoms #MomLife #GrowthMindset #TheThrivingMommy

🤔 How important is it to get the next generation involved in your respective industry? It's essential across every industry. But how? ✔ First, find an organization that is an established leader in youth development with missional alignment. ✔ Second, ensure that they have significant reach and engagement starting in Kindergarten and running through 12th grade. ✔ Third, reach out and discover how you can share the story and benefits of your industry. 💡 With the right partner, you can ignite a passion for your industry within some of the rising stars of the next generation. 💚 Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore is just such a partner. Let's talk about participating in our Girl Scout Leadership Conference or creating a custom patch program to get things started. #gsmists #youthdevelopment #nextgenpartnerships

I help women UNAPOLOGETICALLY take up space and lead with confidence in the workplace; by embracing how enough they already are. | Keynote Speaker | Trainer and Facilitator | Thought Leadership on Gender Equality
Impactful leadership skills are important in every sector - but it’s especially important across the global development, humanitarian aid industries, and others working for positive social change. Why? Simply put – so we can solve the world’s challenges, faster. Enough Labs is thrilled to partner with WILD Network at this year’s Women’s Global Leadership Forum. When Fiona Macaulay and I first met, neither of us could contain our excitement and passion about the importance of supporting women leaders at every level. We chatted endlessly how much supportive spaces like the WILD Network are needed to help foster creativity and to share ideas around how to navigate the tricky alters of leadership. And that’s why I’m so excited to be partnering with WILD this year as a sponsor. Not only am I thrilled to be part of the incredible lineup of speakers, I’m even more excited to be able to host a delegation from Enough Labs to attend the conference. At Enough Labs, we have always believed in the power of investing in leaders, particularly when it comes to supporting their learning and fostering opportunities for connection. If you are a woman who works in the international development sector - at any level - and is looking to be part of the very first delegation from enough labs, please send me a message. I would love to offer you a spot. So send me a message soon because limited spaces within the Enough Labs delegation. Maybe you’ll join us? #WILDpartner #leadershipatalllevels #invetsinwomensleadership
