There's a career fair in #Syracuse tomorrow! Sharing for others in the area who are #opentowork like me. How I've prepared: ➡ Printed copies of my resume ➡ Researched the companies attending (and checked their website for openings) ➡ Practiced (out loud!) my introduction to employers ➡ Wrote down my list of employers to visit at the fair to bring with me ➡ Picked out my outfit and laid it out so it's ready Looking forward to tomorrow and seeing the possibilities! 💪 #jobsearchtips #gethired

Career Fair Tips: Plan your Follow-Up Tomorrow's the big day for our Spring Career Fair, scheduled from 3-5 p.m. in the University Center on Mount Mercy University's main campus. Having a solid plan for how you plan to follow up with recruiters will go a long way in making a positive impression. After collecting business cards or contact information from employers, jot down a few notes about each interaction to personalize your follow-up. Reference specific points from your conversation, express continued interest, and thank them for their time. A well-crafted follow-up can solidify the connection you made during the career fair.
