Driller: The driller is a more senior position compared to a floor man. We want to ensure that every possible resource is recovered from the residual waste we receive - including the ash and metals that remain after the combustion process. They can be repurposed, recycled and reused in support of the circular economy. That's why we are pleased to be partnering with Day Aggregates to develop our own Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) processing plant in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. And it's fantastic to see the facility now reaching the final stages of construction. Soon, the plant will begin converting IBA from our Rookery South and Newhurst facilities into aggregates for the construction sector to reduce reliance on mining new resources from the earth.
