I had the privilege of watching Shareen Sinclair also known as Plumber’s Angel and a valued member of my Publicity with Purpose group, deliver a powerful contribution on a #Phex panel at Olympia yesterday. Phex, the leading annual conference in the trade sector, welcomed Shareen as she shared invaluable insights on resilience and the importance of a regulated nervous system to support positive mental health. Her message resonated deeply with attendees, particularly in addressing the mindset shift needed within a sector predominantly made up of working-class men. These are essential and skilled individuals who typically acquire only the practical skills necessary for a career in trades, often without the business acumen or habits required to transition from a life of hand-to-mouth survival to financial security. Witnessing Shareen’s growth and expansion is inspiring. There’s a significant gap between coaching your clients in your own sphere and stepping up as a voice of influence and impact within your industry. This shift has little to do with external circumstances and everything to do with how you perceive yourself. For exponential growth, who you know yourself to be must evolve – and that’s not a passive process. To step into your expanded self, many of the habits, people, belief systems, and environments that once defined you need to be released. They must be replaced by new ones that align with the version of you capable of embracing the life and leadership role you're growing into. This is a truth solidified and embodied by my own coaches at #CoachHQ. It's not always comfortable, and not everyone will understand or appreciate your growth—but your soul will. And so will those who benefit from the ways you contribute and impact others in ways the former you never could. So, the next time you see someone showing up in a space you admire, instead of wondering what they did to get there, ask yourself: who did they have to become? Congratulations, Shareen. Yesterday, I attended the Jubilant event once again, and this time, I heard Dr. Velumani's speech. One of the key takeaways was the concept of [ TTT ] : 1. Truth 2. Transparency 3. Trust. According to him, these three are the pillars of success. He also shared a humorous yet thought-provoking line: 'If a man becomes a successful businessman, there’s often one strong woman supporting him. If he struggles, it might be because he’s distracted by too many womens.' If you’re a college entrepreneur like me, here’s a tip: 1. Attend events, 2. Network with people 3. learn from the experiences of seasoned entrepreneurs. Listening to them can help you avoid mistakes you might otherwise make. These events reinforce a crucial lesson: "Money alone doesn’t make someone successful, networking does." To be Honest, the reason why I again attended the event is to find an investor for my venture, but I came to an important realization: "we must focus on one idea at a time to truly succeed." For me, that idea is DualGro, a platform where skilled freelancers and professionals can thrive, and businesses can succeed by hiring the right team. Every business deserves a team that can turn their vision into reality, and Dualgro is committed to making that happen. Here’s my Tips for you: "Don’t give up on your dreams just because others doubt you. At the end of the day, it’s your life, your vision, and your journey. Stay focused, keep learning, and chase your goals with everything you’ve got." I’m truly grateful for what I have and want to thank my parents for believing in me. The best way I can thank them is by making them proud by turning my dreams into reality. I want to solve problems in the areas like: 1. Work [which helps people to earn Money] 2. Knowledge 3. Food 4. Clothing 5. Drinks I want to create innovative products and solutions around these areas to make a meaningful impact. Earlier this year, I made a decision to step out of my comfort zone in my title business. I committed to making more calls—not just to clients, but to prospects too. Now, calling people doesn’t come naturally to me. There were days when fear and anxiety would creep in, whispering, "You’re going to bother them," or "What if they’re rude?" But I prayed for strength, courage, and energy to push through. And here’s what I discovered… 👉🏽 In life, you can’t DO MORE and GET LESS. If you make 5 extra calls a day, you’re not going to get -1 contacts. It doesn’t work that way! Over time, I started getting more comfortable. I had meaningful conversations, built stronger connections, and watched my business grow beyond what I imagined. ✔️ What gets rewarded gets repeated! As someone who used to be nervous about picking up the phone, I can tell you—it’s worth it! It only takes one "yes" to keep you inspired. And remember, the person on the other end already isn’t working with you, so you have nothing to lose. If they’re rude? Great, that’s one less person you ever have to call again. ✅ So stay encouraged, stay motivated, keep pushing. At the perfect time, your hard work will pay off. I'm very lucky - I get to partner with extremely talented, hard working, excellent people. A few of them are Neal Ghosh, JT Benton, and Evan Allen, but the list is longer than that - these are just my 9point8 Collective partners. It is... immensely humbling. And it's easy, when I'm compromised, to feel less strong than I am. When I'm stressed, haven't slept well, haven't eaten well (a... big one for me), and am overall just not at 100%, it's very easy to look around me at such strong people and feel lesser. That's not the case, ups and downs happen, our environment and circumstances matter, but we don't always think like that. Sometimes, we just recognize how strong we have felt and feel we now fall short. All that to say, I can understand why someone's immense strength can, relative to what they know they're capable of, sometimes not feel strong. That’s ok - and mitigating circumstances are never to be used as excuses, but always to be tracked and understood so we can learn from them and be intentional about our environments for the future. Just get yourself partners who see it, accept ups and downs because they'll have them too, hold you accountable to address whatever the root issues are throwing you off more effectively (that is to say, they tell you to take care of yourself), and cover you when you need it.
