Our NutrEval and Metabolomix+ nutritional tests measure amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein. Low amino acids suggest low protein intake and/or maldigestion or malabsorption of protein. Our GI Effects Comprehensive Stool Test measures markers of digestion and absorption, including Products of Protein Breakdown and Fecal Fats. - Elevated markers suggest maldigestion/malabsorption. - Low markers do not necessarily indicate maldigestion/malabsorption but could indicate low protein or fat intake. For more detailed information on the causes of both high or low levels of the digestion markers, you can refer to pages 13-15 of our GI Effects Support Guide: https://lnkd.in/dZJa9bsC

What Is Threonine? Threonine is an indispensable amino acid in the human body. It is one of the eight essential amino acids. However, the body cannot synthesize this ingredient itself and needs to obtain it from the diet. It is an amino acid used in protein biosynthesis. It is also one of the many building blocks of protein in our bodies. What Is Theanine? Theanine is a naturally occurring amino acid found in tea leaves. It has many beneficial effects on the human body. It is mainly divided into L-theanine and D-theanine. Among them, L-theanine is the main form of theanine in tea. This form has higher physiological activity. Which One Is Better? Click the link to find out: https://lnkd.in/dU2xtg86

L-Methionine: Sources in Food, Supplement Use, and Potential Side Effects Amino Acids: Building Blocks of Proteins Amino acids, when strung together in chains, are the fundamental components of proteins within the body. Analogous to letters forming words, amino acids combine in specific numbers and sequences to determine the shape and function of each protein. http://dlvr.it/T4sZcz

In formulation,it is common to show the energy value in metabolisable energy (kcal or MJ ME/kg feed) and protein content of the diet but comprehensive information on concentrations of mineral elements and digestible amino acids are also provided. Digestible amino acids often include not just the first limiting amino acid, methionine, but also most of the 10 essential amino acids. A number of databases are available to provide information on the digestible amino acid contents of various animal feed ingredients.
