🌟 Customer Spotlight: Pioneering DNA Repair Research! 🌟 We are thrilled to congratulate Pauline Lascaux, PhD student at the Department of Oncology, University of Oxford, on her recent publication in Cell Press titled "Study Discovers New Process for Cells to Repair DNA Damage"—a breakthrough that holds promise for cancer treatments, particularly in colorectal cancer patients. Pauline’s research uncovers a new process in DNA repair, where cells remove harmful DNA-protein lesions from the nucleus to ensure genetic stability and promote cell survival. This newly discovered pathway, termed nucleophagy, provides vital insights into how cells maintain their integrity under stress. The findings could pave the way for improved cancer treatments and better patient outcomes in the future. At GenScript, we were honored to support Pauline’s groundbreaking work. Our Bioinformatics team performed NGS sequencing of her DNA fragments and conducted whole genome sequencing to provide a comprehensive analysis, helping to unlock critical insights in her study! 🧬 Congratulations again to Pauline and the University of Oxford on this significant achievement in life sciences!
