Last week our CCO Richard Dowdeswell was in Florida to present at the Western Dredging Association (WEDA) Annual Summit & Expo. Richard joined a number of other speakers from Kongsberg Discovery, DSC Dredge and SPE Dredging Solutions in a session about the use of #sonar for #underwater visualisation during #dredging operations. Richard spoke about the use of sub-bottom profiling sonars to help identify potential hazards before dredging starts as well as giving a presentation on the use of Uncrewed Survey Vessels (#USV) for conducting #bathymetricsurveys.
