You are surely anxious right before coming on stage. How to overcome the stage fright? I'll surprise you-there is no magical recipe. We are humans and it's normal that we feel emotions-negative and positive ones. How would you overcome the physiological body reactions such as hands sweating? You must be a superhero! So... don't buy Gummi Bears' juice to avoid FEELING. There is one thing you can do : PRACTICE. Prepare your speech in advance, train and everything will go smoothly! It helps me prioritize and listen to the person inside me. The experience of two hours in your four-walled, well-furnished room and the experience of two hours in open nature feel different. Maybe not for you, because you're modern, isn't it? Every shining day is an opportunity to look at yourself and notice things. There are no prescriptions that guide you to make your life absolutely perfect. Rather, everything happens in circles, and the circle goes on. We are born, we live, and we die, that's it! Oops... I missed something. You also hide behind the walls of your seriousness and a tight smile. 🐣 Take a look in the mirror, give a gentle smile, and ask yourself! What if I didn't have to? A great way to change your thinking and life, start by asking yourself. What if I didn't have to live my life this way? What if I didn't have to be so angry or frustrated? What if I didn't have to worry what other people think about me? What if I didn't have to work in a job that is killing me? What if my dog is trying to show me another way to be, to live? (Personal favorite). I spent so much of my life NOT being in a place where I could ask myself these questions and more. I was sick and tired of living a crappy existence, yet kept doing the same things. Hmmmm.... Now, switch these up a bit- What if I could learn to heal my internal wounds? What if I could learn to be the man my dog knows I am? What if I could break the cycle of anger and depression in my family? What if I could learn to feel and love deeply? Day 7: Do you schedule in time for a laughter break?   You may have heard of the old saying “laughter is the best medicine”. Well research has shown that laughter changes brain activity and produces gamma waves similar to long term meditators. Have you ever noticed that you can’t feel stressed and laugh at the same time. I have done this experiment for myself. I am working on producing content for my program called the Resilient H.E.A.R.T Roadmap, which I am launching next year (really excited about this). There are days when I find myself in different emotional states, ranging from flow to frustration. The frustration can often lead to a cascade of negative thoughts.  When I notice this, I just start to chuckle at my thoughts. It’s pretty amazing how quickly my state changes, I feel lighter and it shortens the negative rumination gap that in the past may have lasted for hours. This is because the laughter produces feel good chemicals that relieve pain and angst. So why not release that inner child in you today. Have some fun, be silly and laugh out loud.
