In the picture below, geologists are using GSSI's 100 MHz ground penetrating radar (GPR) antennas to safely locate abandoned mine shafts in Arizona. Why use GPR? It’s a nondestructive method that allows geologists to map the subsurface without the need for digging or disturbing the ground. This makes it the perfect tool for locating hidden mine shafts while preserving the environment and ensuring the safety of workers.
