Lovely day for a funeral and a unique one too. This will probably be the only funeral that I am looking forward to attending! It helps that the “deceased” is still very much with us, of course. But what a great idea from Simon Ferrar, to provide us with an opportunity to attend and experience a natural burial. An alternative burial that is argued to be “easy on the eye, kind to our hearts and gently to our world.” I am also looking forward to thinking about key questions such as: Why do we do burials? How do we do burials? What do they mean?
