S. 3589 This has been read twice on the floor of the senate. Soon to be voted on. I don't think/hope they will have the votes, but they are going to try. I read this bill. Here is the definition of who they are targeting: (Their definition) "PRIVATE PARAMILITARY ORGANIZATION.—The term ‘private paramilitary organization’ means any group of 3 or more persons associating under a command structure for the purpose of functioning in public or training to function in public as a combat, combat support, law enforcement, or security services unit" It's called the Preventing Private Paramilitary Activity Act of 2024. 1st, they are trying to make it against the law to protect ourselves from the government. (Back dooring the 2A) 2nd, I remind you it says: "Security services unit". That is your church security team. Am I reading this correct? This bill would make a church security team against the law. Is that correct? Read it yourself. The "man" is coming from every direction. The cost of voting stupid. MARANATHA!

September 11th is a reminder of the lives we lost and the people who stepped up in the face of unimaginable tragedy. Thousands of innocent people died that day, but it also brought out the best in those who banded together to help. First responders charged into danger, everyday citizens became heroes, and our nation stood united. Today, let’s honor their memory by committing to something more. Let’s stand with our military and law enforcement , whose mission is clear—prevent terrorism from ever having the chance to strike again. We owe it to those who died, those who fought to save lives, and those who continue to protect our freedom. This isn’t just about remembrance. It’s about ensuring that something like 9/11 never happens again. For those too young to remember or who were born after the event that changed our world. Pay attention to what we learned. We thought it could never happen - and it did. We thought we were immune from an attack on our soil - and we weren’t. Let’s learn from history and not forget what it tells us. Let’s not let the deaths of our fellow Americans be forgotten. Let’s take the dangers of terrorism here seriously. Let’s provide the resources needed to protect our Country to those that protect us. According to Defense Department data, suicides among active-duty service members increased by more than 40% between 2015 and 2020. The numbers jumped by 15% in 2020 alone are nearly double the rate of the general population in the United States. A report in 2021 from the Costs of War Project found that an estimated 30,177 active duty military personnel and veterans who have served since the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks died by suicide, compared with the 7,057 killed in military operations during the two-decade war against terrorism. My guests today are Teri and Patrick Caserta, parents of Brandon Caserta who died by suicide in 2018 as an active solider in the US Navy. They created The Brandon Act to allow the men and women who serve in the United States of America’s Armed Forces to get help without retaliation from anyone in their commands and will hold people accountable for their actions, if it is deemed necessary. It will allow them to get counseling for any issues they may have from bullying to sexual/mental/ domestic abuse among many other issues. With “The Brandon Act” in place, they hope to completely eliminate suicides in the Armed Forces. Sharing two of my short poems while reflecting with deep sorrow on the raging wars in our time... Just War?   There is no justness in any kind of war driving people homeless, making them nameless erasing their childhood in the cruel memories of time.   There is no justness In any kind of war whether it is an answer to others’ aggression, vengeance or retaliation or in the pretext of protection.   There is no justness in all wars being waged that waste blood and love that send out men and women youth and children to the great brink of despair.  __________________________ Is There Another Way Out?   When tyrants are exterminated now, new tyrants stand up in the line. When violence is introduced for the greater good over and against the smaller group, screams of hatred and revenge forever haunt.   When bombs and military force are used to save life, there is no end to shedding of blood. Where are we heading? Isn’t there another way out?
