Please correct me if I'm wrong here ... Our current default construction method for high-density housing is towers. These typically consist of: - Cast-in-place concrete structure - Cantilevered balconies - Aluminium curtainwall facades That means we are using: - The lowest performing envelope system - The highest embodied carbon facade - The worst thermal bridging detail possible Am I missing something here? #architecture #embodiedcarbon #carbon #architect

AAC industrial panels are much better than tilt-up system with an R-value of 10 continuous insulation! versus tilt-up R-value of less than 2. No wonder why warehouses are extremely hot. This will reduce waste on site and of the project budget, butt-jointed material can also create a much more authentic appearance overall. This can be helpful to projects perhaps with larger open areas and/or with mixing in multiple solid colors or woodgrains.
