QA professionals must work like secret service agents. In all their project, there are 3 requirements: 1. Identify all the risks involved. 2. Assess them thoroughly. 3. Decide which issues need urgent attention. Likewise, QA pros also have to manage risks. STEP 1: Identify and log risks including – - legal compliance and regulatory risks - data security and breach risks - unforeseen events such as natural disasters, physical break-ins, and theft - supply chain disruptions. STEP 2: Assess the risks – 1/. Identification number (for risks) Assign a unique identifier to each risk to track and manage it effectively. 2/. Brief description and overview of each risk Provide a concise summary of the risk, including its potential impact and likelihood. 3/. Risk categories (both internal and external) Categorize risks based on their origin, such as internal or external, to better understand and manage them. 4/. Probability Assess the likelihood of each risk occurring, using a scale such as low, medium, or high. 5/. Impact and Rating Evaluate the potential impact of each risk, using a scale such as low, medium, or high. 6/. Risk analysis approach and specification Document the methodology used to analyze and assess each risk. STEP 3: Action plan to mitigate the risks – Outline the steps to mitigate or manage each risk, including responsible individuals and timelines. . . . . P.S. Have you ever faced unexpected risks in your QA projects? #softwaretesting #testautomation #QA

How long does it take to hire a #QA specialist in Canada? And how much does it cost?🤔💲 The traditional process can take 2-3 months and cost upwards of $5,000. But what if you could find a highly skilled QA specialist in just 2-5 days, without spending a dime on material costs? Partnering with a #QASpecialist that offers a ramp-up and down model can do just that for you. CTG Canada can help: https://bit.ly/3sqQZHC

No, I don’t want testers. Having people who are supposed to be skilled at QA doing QC is a wasteful and harms both them and the value stream. I value QA professionals and would never subject them to QC work unless they wanted to also help develop a feature to build empathy. QC is a developer’s job. Now, if you are claiming to be QA, assert developers aren’t capable of QC, and claim that’s your job, you’ve been poorly trained and should upskill before claiming a QA title. QA means guiding the quality process and ensuring it’s effective. It’s validating the process, not inspecting the product. It's showing others how and educating them, not doing it for them.
