In nursing we talk a lot about how years of experience we have, as we should... But I also want to highlight that usually in our careers we are SKILLS away from the next step. We become CCRN through the skills and knowledge we obtain, not by the number of years we have been at the bedside. As we develop our careers at the bedside, we should know there are SKILLS to develop such as: 1. Mentoring/Precepting 2. Providing/receiving feedback 3. Building confidence in team members 4. Conflict resolution 5. Prioritizing and delegation I've found that when I learn a new skill that's when I gain more satisfaction out of my job, not necessarily when I have spent more time at it. What are some SKILLS you would like to highlight for bedside nurses?

Are you looking for a new home? I chose MUSC Florence for my new home because I found the CNO to be extremely supportive with the experience to mentor me so that I can continue to progress in my career; physicians that wanted to collaborate with nurses and be innovative with the care provided to patients; bedside staff that prioritize the patients over everything else and are constantly looking for ways to help each other. For all those reasons and more, that I will reveal during your interview, I think you should also choose MUSC Florence. Looking for RNs to apply to CVICU, MICU, SICU, and IMC. To make applying easier, here are some quotes from the nurses you will work with: "I love my job & my coworkers" "Nursing has been a wonderful career for me. I love helping others... I have learned so much and owe so much to my fellow coworkers. I hope I have helped and encouraged others." "Seeing this heart program succeed and giving back families their cherished loved ones could not be more important to me." https://lnkd.in/guj5uHTU Click the link, apply, and join a team that you won't find anywhere else! I'll give you a preview of the first interview question so you can have an upper hand when you apply. What type of French fry are you and do you dip your French fry or pour a condiment on your French fries?
