Something to consider when you're social selling. Our own employee advocacy efforts generated a record number of inbounds recently. The interesting part... Not a single one of them had engaged with our social posts. We only knew because every message on the form submissions started with something like 'I saw your LinkedIn post...' Prospects don't like to 'Like' or comment because they're afraid of being contacted immediately afterwards. So, don't worry if you don't get any/many likes when you post. Just remember that people are still seeing your content. The key is to create a network of people in your target market and post daily about the problem you help to solve. #SocialSelling #Sales #PersonalBranding #EmployeeAdvocacy

One of my favorite ‘cheat codes’ from Bradley Keenan 🏂's book 👇 “A strong personal brand is priceless. Make sure employees know that!” This is especially true for anyone in a sales role. Share valuable insights based on your expertise, and you’ll become known as a helpful person who solves problems. That’s the ideal position to be in when a prospect is ready to buy 👏 More employee advocacy cheat codes for social selling: https://lnkd.in/g4GZi7me Plus, find out how to get a free copy of the book and grab the accompanying resources. #B2BSales #SocialSales #SalesLeadership

78% of businesses that prioritize social selling outperform those that don’t. To maximize this opportunity, your sales team will need content that offers value to their networks, nurturing those in their pipeline and attracting new inbound leads. Things like: 🔸 Case studies & testimonials 🔸 3rd-party industry news 🔸 Thought leadership Due to the benefits they’ll see from being active on social, your sales team will have the most vested interest in joining an employee advocacy program. Being able to find ready-to-share content approved by your company reduces any risk of saying the wrong thing, and saves them precious time. Although they have the most to gain from participating, don’t limit your program to just sales and marketing folk. Including departments like HR, talent/recruitment, and leadership will build more trust in your brand. Plus, you’ll attract top talent by showcasing authentic company culture. A win-win. #SocialSelling #SocialSales

It's better to have one true friend with whom you can share your struggles and celebrate your joys than having ten "friends" who hardly remember your name and leave your messages on "seen". While they're not always mutually exclusive, quality often holds greater value than quantity. Focus on generating quality leads, as these are more likely to convert and result in a positive ROI.
