What does our Apache 4 Watercraft and a Dad behind the wheel of a tube ride in the summer have in common? Precision, speed and accuracy – let's just say we’ve got much more control.... We guide our bathymetric survey equipment to capture every detail below the surface with unmatched accuracy and efficiency. Whether it’s a lake, river, or reservoir, our team ensures your project gets the same level of attention and expertise. Because when it comes to surveying, we’re all about delivering the thrill of top-tier performance with the precision you need. #geoverra #surveying #landsurveying #apache4 #BathymetricSurveys

How to Inspect a Hydrodynamic Separator The inspection includes proper measuring of sediment levels. Additionally, 2 stage units always use a diversion manhole. The diversion manhole needs to be opened and the screen checked for excessive debris. There are other instances where you might find a diverter. Reference the SWQMP drawings for verification. Additionally, the in and out drains in the diversion manhole need to be free and clear of debris. With spring seeding activities underway, we offer Certainty for pipeline safety in farms and fields. Did you know? 1. Pipeline depths can change over time due to erosion, contouring, additional digging projects and other factors. 2. Pipeline markers are designed to bring awareness to the presence of a pipeline and its approximate location. 3. Pipeline representatives may be required to be present whenever digging occurs on the pipeline right-of-way. 4. That even slight contact with a pipeline may cause damage as pipelines have a protective coating that when scratched, nicked or scraped may cause a future incident. 5. That if contact is made with a pipeline, the pipeline operator should be called immediately. #certainty #pipelinemaintenance #pipelineintegrity

Though this project was contracted to survey abandoned mine land, our High Definition Stream Survey (HDSS) platform allows for more data to be collected simultaneously. As seen in this clip, we run into a stormwater-damaged area. Our comprehensive StreamView(™) was able to capture every detail to be documented and classified immediately or to be revisited for additional analysis at a future date. #Stormwater #abandonedmineland #survey

Common Failure Points of Hydrodynamic Separator Most Hydrodynamic separators have no moving parts so it is unlikely that these systems will fail. However, they can become clogged. This is rare in that these systems are designed to bypass the treatment flow in the event of a clog or lack of maintenance. If the treatment flow is clogged it’s most likely due to a full system. In some models, hatchways have problems with the springs as well as the bolts that hold the lids in place. We’ve also seen the fins break off some models, which is a result of the bolts rusting. Any deficiencies need to be noted on the inspection report. The role of a #dredge #pump in a #cuttersuction #dredger is to facilitate the excavation and removal of sediment, debris, or other materials from the seabed or water bottom. The dredge pump is a critical component that creates a suction force, drawing in water and sediment through a suction pipe. Once the material is sucked in, the pump propels it through a discharge pipe, typically to a designated location for disposal or further processing.#HANSEL #MARINE
