Global Employment Challenge | Bridging The Gap For Talent In Africa

Hiring global talent is often seen as a way to save money, but it's so much more than that. If you allow it, global talent can remove major bottlenecks. If you treat it as a more affordable way to handle overflows and basic tasks, that's all it will be. A recent conversation with a brokerage firm's CEO started off with little interest in discussing African talent. "We've got local interns covering those basic needs." Sure, no problem. Then, he mentioned the recurring headache of keeping their compliance documentation and CRM system meticulously updated. Bingo. A value-adding opportunity. 💡 Long story short, he engaged someone from Cape Town with data analysis experience to give him back capacity. This is the power of viewing global talent as problem-solvers rather than just cost-savers. It starts with asking more questions and digging into the granular processes and tasks weighing down your team.
