Our team recently donated 48 cases of water – totaling 1,920 bottles toward the Code Red campaign through the Phoenix Rescue Mission, collecting water to pass out to the homeless community in Phoenix. Phoenix hits record temperatures every summer and can be so dangerous for individuals getting dehydrated. Socks might seem like a small, everyday item that many of us overlook. Yet for individuals experiencing homelessness and children in need, a clean pair of socks can be a rare luxury. You may wonder -- why are we talking about socks and not about our fluid handling solutions? Because at the heart of our operations is a deep commitment to community—and one of our fundamental company values. In fact, one of our sales managers, Jared, talked with Wichtia's Footprints ICT and implemented a sock drive with our sales team! We hope to donate 500 pairs of socks to those in need. Why are socks important? Footprints ICT shares: - Foot ailments caused by a lack of good socks send more homeless people to the ER than any other reason. - Students have a hard time focusing on school when their feet are cold or wet. - Socks are the most requested item and the least donated.
