The biggest challenge of writing my new film (Finding Pushpa) was getting indepth of the teenage male mind - even though I've gone through that age but to make sure that the characters are relevant, relatable had to do a lot of surveys and research. finally things are getting right on paper and soon would be ready for rolling production #Filmmaker #Filmmaking

HOW DO YOU USE "see a film" AND "watch a film"? Don't say: 1. I have seen the film you sent me. ❌ 2. At the cinema, we watched a romantic film. ❌ Rather say: 1. I have watched the film you sent me. ✔️ 2. At the cinema, we saw a romantic film. ✔️ Use "see" if you saw the film in a cinema. Use "watch" if you watched the film at home, from your phone or television, etc. PS: How properly edited would you like your book to be? Send us your manuscript today! ©Victor Nwafor C. The coin toss scene from the Coen Brothers' "No Country For Old Men" is one of the most memorable scenes in the history of American cinema. "What's the most you've ever lost in a coin toss?" Anton Chigurh asks in the iconic scene. The dialogue is engraved in the memories of film lovers around the world. This is a great example of subtext in dialogue. But what is subtext in a dialogue? What we say is not always entirely what we mean. Likewise, our actions have a meaning of their own, indicating how we feel under the surface. In other words, subtext is part of our everyday lives. It follows to create dialogue and behavior that feels natural should also contain subtext. The coin toss scene at the gas station embodies the two points of view within the story. It asks the question, "Is the world going to an evil place where only God can save it, or was the world so bad from the start that nothing and no one can save it?" The coin is subtext for living and dying. And the dialogue asks the man to pick life or death, even if he's not sure about it. Use this technique when you're writing a dialogue next time. #ScreenplayTips #Screenplay #Films #Cinema #NoCountryForOldMen #Writer

It is truly a proud moment to release my psychological thriller short film titled "SEEK OUT" Writer/ Storyboard/ DOP/ Director/ Sound Design/ Editor/ Actor : Abhiram Babu https://lnkd.in/g-J4X7eW Lets get to the backstory of how I made "SEEK OUT". It was a challenge put up by myself to bring out the fire that was still burning inside. From sketching the one-line to the final visual output, the short but long mental and physical journey was exhausting but just inspiring. From self reviewing and from few comments I received, I know there are areas that needs to be polished and areas that could have been made better. But, for me, the time was the constrain. Time was the limitation. Within the timeframe of 7 days I wanted to finish and get the final output. That was my only concern. This was an experiment, and to let myself believe that I could. Also, I want to bring the attention to the fact that I made this all my myself in a limited time of one week with zero production cost. Now, Imagine what I will be capable of, if I was equipped with a team of experts and equipments and a budget. The link is attached, please give it a watch and let me know.

Most documentary films are crafted using a blend of video footage, interviews, and stock footage. However, this approach isn't always the case. Some periodical films are reimagined with the help of artists. For example, one of our documentary films narrates its story through vibrant artwork and a compelling voiceover. #documentaryfilms #documentary #documentaries Nithyanantham M Priya Maria Antony Nalini Chandran

You never know where a great idea might come from. And this doesn't bypass anyone, not Bryan Cranston nor Kubrick, the acclaimed film director, who was actively seeking ways to open his mind for new ideas. Kubrick, directed some of the greatest movies ever - The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, A Clockwork Orange A Space Odyssey. He's known for his meticulous and perfectionist approach to filmmaking, handed his doorman a copy of the script for his film "Eyes Wide Shut" and asked for his thoughts. After reading the script, the doorman reportedly told Kubrick that he thought the story was good but didn't understand the ending. Kubrick then reevaluated the script and wrote a whole new ending. Eventually, this movie was a huge success, considered by many to be one of his best movies. This anecdote is often cited as an example of Kubrick's open-mindedness and willingness to consider feedback from unexpected sources in his pursuit of perfection in his films. If opening our mind to unexpected perspectives is good enough for Kubrick and Bryan Cranston, I guess it's good enough for all of us:) __________________________________ For more interesting storytelling and video production insights follow: Blue Monkeys Productions Barak Shavit #creativity #videoproduction #digitalmarketing #storytelling #marketing Credit: @OutstandingScreenplays
