🌟 Employee Spotlight: Caleb Dassow 🌟
Meet Caleb Dassow, the Restaurant Manager at Truk't, who has been part of the Geronimo Hospitality family since March 2022. Caleb's journey began at Bessie's Diner, where he worked as a server and line cook. It was there that he discovered his passion for the restaurant industry, which inspired him to pursue further education at Blackhawk Technical College. This dedication and drive eventually led him into a management role with Geronimo Hospitality Group.
What initially attracted Caleb to Bessie's was the glowing reputation of its management team. However, what has kept him committed to Geronimo is the way the company treats its employees. Caleb values the supportive and growth-oriented culture that has allowed him to thrive in his role.
When asked about his favorite line from the company's manifesto, Caleb couldn't choose just one. He resonates with "Push the boundaries... skinned knees are encouraged," believing that learning and growth often come from taking risks. He also loves "Make an impression," recognizing the impact that positive interactions with guests, coworkers, and managers can have on the entire organization.
One of the perks he appreciates most is the food discounts at other restaurants, which allow him to treat his friends to nice meals.
Outside of work, Caleb enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. Whether it's relaxing around a campfire or taking vacations up north, he cherishes these moments of connection and fun.
