One of my tougher cases from a few days ago, a brunescent cataract or "Coca-Cola" cataract as I like to call them. My tips in such cases- create a larger than usual capsulorhexis, create multiple chops to free up and emulsify the endonucleus which makes the lens fragments easier to separate, continue the emulsification of the fragments until the posterior fibrous plate of the lens remains and most importantly be cautious not to flip the entire nucleus in the earlier stages of the phacoemulsification as it may cause a PCR. #cataract
