The Relevance of Trade Fairs in Today’s Business Landscape. Back in 2012, when I started working in the exhibition industry, I heard that the era of trade fairs was coming to an end. Development of technology and new communication possibilities were treated as a threat. Here we are, 12 years later... and the Fair Trades are still strong 💪 Rather than ending, trade fairs are evolving. The future is happening now! From my observations, the value of in-person interaction remains significant in many sectors, including #foodandbeverage sector, in which networking opportunities and the advantage of physical product demonstrations are hard to replicate online. As an organizer of WorldFood Poland, NutraFood Poland and ColdChain Poland exhibitions, I honestly believe in high value of the in-person aspect of trade fairs for building relationships, showcasing products, and engaging with business partners and customers. I’m curious to hear your perspectives on the importance of participating in trade fairs. Do you believe that trade fairs still hold significant value for businesses in terms of networking, building relationships, and discovering new market trends? Or do you think the shift towards digital platforms and virtual events is making physical trade fairs less relevant? I would greatly appreciate your insights and experiences.
