#TBT Science Diplomacy Week 2024 - Day 4 From 10th to 14th June, we welcomed 25 professionals from all around the world for an intense week of deep dive into #ScienceDiplomacy within International Geneva. Highlights from Day 4 at CERN 🟣Inside a cryogenic test facility for superconducting magnets used in the world’s biggest and most powerful atom smasher, participants explored the SM18 test facility and got more information about the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) – which runs for 27 kilometers some 100 meters beneath the Swiss-French border near Geneva. 🟣The visit at CERN underscores CERN’s contributions to innovations like the World Wide Web and its influence on future global policies through scientific evidence. 🟣The afternoon continues with interactive learning, from quantum diplomacy role-playing to discussions on international cooperation in science.
