At Clockwork, one of the key initiatives I've been spearheading is the development of an 'Evergreen Engineering Roadmap'. 🌳 Why Evergreen? The tech world is ever-changing. The moment you think you've got it all figured out, new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies emerge. Our 'Evergreen' roadmap is designed to help our engineers evolve with the best practices and most effective tools at our disposal. 👣 Our Four-Step Annual Cycle: 1️⃣ Review & Update Engineering Principles Ensuring our guiding principles match the current needs and future goals of our organization. 2️⃣ Review & Update Engineering Accountabilities per Title Clearly defining roles and expectations so that everyone is on the same page. 3️⃣ Review & Update Technology Standards Keeping our tech stack and coding practices current, to maximize efficiency and ensure quality. 4️⃣ Increase Engagement Around the Previous 3 Steps Workshops, internal blogs, and team discussions to keep everyone involved and invested.
