🎉Wednesday night was a blast! It was an absolute pleasure to partner with New York City SHRM to host an incredible group of local HR leaders at the Healthee office. We learned a lot from each other as we networked and swapped stories. Special thanks to Alex S. for joining our Summer Networking Social! Thanks to everyone who joined us, and we look forward to more fun events at our office in the future! #NYCSHRM #HappyHour #HR #HRLeaders #Healthee

Our 80+ global Baird HR team attended the first ever Baird HR Symposium earlier this week! The event focused on how we can become more trusted, confident, and credible business professionals supporting our clients—Baird associates! It was an incredible event. There were smiles, laughs, happy tears, success stories on how we’ve delivered incredible solutions for our clients, interviews with senior leaders from different revenue groups, an exclusive chat with Baird’s CEO, Steve Booth, informative breakout sessions (shoutout to the entire Baird Talent Development Team!), HR-themed Family Feud, and dinner! To top it off, our CHRO, Rodney Jones-Tyson, closed the event by surprising every HR associate with a gift and personalized, hand-written note expressing his gratitude and appreciation for the work we do. WOW! 😄 (Yes, that’s him with the Baird-blue sunglasses. Yes, he’s as cool as he looks.) After almost 13 years with the firm, I have to pinch myself from time to time because I’m still in awe of how incredible of a place Baird is and continues to be. I LOVE our HR team. Our associates are some of the most caring, thoughtful, intelligent, and driven people I know. We have fun. Our culture embraces associates no matter their background or life experiences. Development opportunities such as this focusing on continuously improving ourselves so we can do our best work are countless. All of this, and more, is why we’re the best in the business. When you feel valued and supported by your leaders and colleagues, you deliver consistent, high-quality results—and not because you have to, but because you WANT to. That’s the Baird Difference. 💙 #wearebaird #discoverthebairddifference #bairddifference #baird #greatplacetowork #professionaldevelopment #HR #milwaukee

The past month has been a whirlwind of exciting changes and events, including moving house, some relaxing annual leave, and the highly anticipated RG Summit. I'm back and I'm ready to reignite my passion project – the HR Heroes series. While the saying goes "no rest for the wicked," in our case, it's no rest for those passionate about all things HR. And that's exactly why I'm so excited to dive back into my HR Heroes series 🦸♀️🦸♂️ When I first started this passion project in my new role as an employee engagement consultant, I simply wanted to gain insights from industry professionals. My goal was to learn more about their daily experiences, challenges faced, and how they overcame them. However, this has evolved into something so much more! The HR community has welcomed me with open arms, sharing their wisdom, experiences, and kindness. Additionally, the messages I've received about this series have been incredible, highlighting how much others have enjoyed and learned from the insights shared. To keep this positive momentum going, I need YOUR help, HR heroes! Who should I reach out to next? Tag those you'd love to see take part below, or slide into my DMs if you'd like to participate yourself 📥 #HRSeries #HRProfessionals

Human Resources Manager/Leadership Training/ Cultural Leader/ Succession Planning/ Change Management/ Onboarding/ Policy and Process Creation/ Employee Relations/ Engagement and Retention Focused
What a great year for #HRSummerSchool so many great topics ranging Keeping your Spark Alive to EEOC to How to learn from your best mistakes and everything with talent, culture, engagement and recognition sprinkled in like ranch seasoning! A key take away this year is One Size fits One and in HR nothing is truer, there is not always a policy or procedure for what happens with a person and we have to use empathy and listening to be the best advocates for the human side to things. Another great take away is that HR is not a cost center it's an innovation center, we listen, we problem solve, we help to drive change and HR is ADAPTABLE! 70% of employees who are happy at work have a direct connection at work, and this is something we can help show our people how to build with their teams through engagement. 3rd Big Take Away is PEACE - Purpose Drive, Empathetic, Adaptable, Conductors of Chaos (this one I love, I often say sometimes it's like herding cats) Empower. This is an event I look forward to every year and if you haven't checked it out you really should and make sure you don't miss it next year! https://lnkd.in/e4zfuzJp

Why we should all take a moment to celebrate our HR employees…. Quite simply, they are the unsung heroes of the ‘office’. My role means being immersed in the world of Human Resources, and so I can’t begin to tell you how vital your HR team is to your business. These folks are the nervous system of your companies, the glue that holds everything together. They follow the company vision, look out for your precious workforce, and protect the business - all while (usually) keeping a smile on their faces. HR professionals are often highly educated, underappreciated, but always indispensable. They handle a crazy array of tasks, from employee performance issues to development plans, with a resilience that often borders on superhuman (and I speak from experience). It’s endless, and they rarely miss a beat. Companies that don’t value their HR team won’t last long - period. I absolutely LOVE the world of HR, and I’m especially grateful for Airship Interactive for knowing how important the work is of a HR dept, and especially grateful for our own amazing Senior HRBP, Anita M.. She’s the superhero of our People team, managing everything I throw at her with poise and a great sense of humour. So, here’s to our and your HR heroes! If you work in HR, from top to bottom, please know your work is crucial, your impact way more profound than you’ll ever know, and your efforts are and should be deeply appreciated. Keep being awesome! #hrday #celebratehr #humanresources #hrheroes

Associate Manager - Recruitment (UK & I) @Eviden | Ex- Cognizant | Ex- Accenture | Ex-KFintech | Core Value Champion, Lean Six Sigma
🌟 Celebrating 11 Years in HR! 🌟 On September 16th, 2013, I took my first step into the world of HR, and what a wild ride it’s been! From my first day to today, I’ve had the privilege of working with amazing teams, learning from inspiring mentors, and growing both professionally and personally. Over the past 11 years, I’ve: Facilitated countless recruitments, helping talented individuals find their perfect roles (and occasionally playing matchmaker for office coffee machines and their perfect corners). Implemented innovative HR strategies that have enhanced workplace culture and productivity (because who doesn’t love a good team-building exercise involving marshmallows and spaghetti?). Supported employee development, ensuring everyone has the tools and opportunities to succeed (and reminding them that “Ctrl+Z” is their best friend). Navigated challenges and celebrated successes, always striving to make a positive impact (and perfecting the art of the “HR smile” during tough conversations). As Ken Robinson wisely said, "Human resources are like natural resources; they’re often buried deep. You have to go looking for them; they’re not just lying around on the surface." I’m grateful for every experience, every lesson, and every person who has been part of this journey. Here’s to many more years of growth, learning, and making a difference in the world of HR! Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way. Let’s continue to achieve great things together! 🚀 #HRJourney #CareerMilestone #ProfessionalGrowth #Gratitude

HR Manager at Anagram Media Labs | Building Modern Teams for Modern Businesses | People & Culture | HR Ops | Payroll
When I first use to think about HR, I could only picture hiring, organizing rangolis, and planning Fun Fridays. But ever since I stepped into these shoes, my perspective has changed profoundly. I've realized that an HR is no only there to make policies but they also there for employees during their tough times, offering a listening ear and genuine support. I've learned that guiding colleagues through their career paths, helping them navigate challenges and celebrate milestones, is incredibly rewarding and that's what makes you an exceptional HR. And moreover providing feedback that pushes others to improve, grow, and become their best selves has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my role. Being in HR is about so much more than just administrative tasks. It's about seeing potential in people even when they doubt themselves and helping them reach new heights. It's about making the workplace a supportive and thriving community. To all my fellow HR professionals, let's continue to bring out the best in everyone around us. 💖 Happy International HRs Day to my fellow HR friends. You guys are doing something great! #HumanResources #HRJourney #WorkplaceHeroes #CareerGrowth #HappyInternationHRDay
