Shew, I am late posting this one! Two weeks ago, I was able to bring two of my team members of our Store Operations Communications Team from O'Reilly Auto Parts to their first ever Zipline #SummerCamp! The week was spent learning from other communications experts across the absolute BEST retail brands out there. We shared communication strategies, what gets folks reading comms and engaging day to day, and, most importantly, how to leverage Zipline to it's fullest potential so your teams can focus on the most important things...like taking care of customers and mentoring their teams! Speaking of mentoring, I was excited to see our very own Jasmine Stehlin take the presenter stage this year to share some tips and tricks with mail merge within Zipline. She killed it and if she was nervous, we couldn't tell 😎 I also had the opportunity to share a session with two of the best, Scott Thomas Jr. from Allbirds and our very amazing Zipline Account Manager Katie Marks, where we shared how our brands are telling their story using the platform. Of course you know I had to share all about our internal podcast, Counter Talk 🎙 ☘ We also had the pleasure of taking Katie Marks, Corbin Eilander, and Deri McCrea along for a DC and a few store visits while out in beautiful Nashville, TN. They joined us as we spoke with our field teams on what's important for them and how can we do our best to insure they get the communications they need, when they need them, and with all the information they should know (you know, withOUT all the fluff 😆 ). Thank you to all of the Zipline team that worked so hard to host the event. Our team connected with so many retail communicators that will bring creative connections throughout the year! You are the best in the biz!
