Helping experts and coaches detach time from money through online education | Building and scaling online info products | Find a time to talk to me below 👇
Just finished Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, here are my 3 key takeaways. 1 - Living in alignment with nature Marcus Aurelius regularly talks about living in alignment with nature. While many may interpret this as moving to a log cabin in the woods, it has a deeper meaning. Marcus is talking about understanding and embracing life's flow, and not fighting it. What happens in nature, happens for a greater purpose, and to push back against this is wasted effort. 2 - Perspective is everything Perspective is another big theme in Meditations. Everything that happens is innately neither good nor bad, the only reason we see it as one way or another is because of our perceptions. While we cannot control what happens, we can control how we perceive it and our reaction to it. A setback? An opportunity? The choice is up to you. 3 - Choose whose opinions you value Whether you like it or not, there will always be people who disagree with you, put you down, and go out of their way to talk down to you. Aurelius reminds us not to value the opinions of people who don't align with your goals and values. If you constantly value the opinions of people with whom you don't align, you will be led down a path that leads you away from who you are. Choose whose opinions you value carefully. Overall, this book was definitely worth my time, and I'm sure I'll come back to it later in the year. ------ PS: I help people like you create successful online education businesses. Interested in how you can achieve this? Send over a DM and I'll help you out.

Celebrating Our First Expert Intensive of 2024! These last few days, we unpacked 2 strategic upgrades that will see our Experts win even faster. Business is a game of skillset and mindset… of push and pull… of knowing when to accelerate, and knowing when to acclimate. You’re always a new skill away from discovering a new possibility, and always working on your ‘mindset game’ to turn impossible into possible into done. Growth in any area of life isn’t about short cuts… it’s about focus, commitment, and dedication. It’s sometimes just boring AF, but that’s just ‘doing the reps’ and ‘building mastery muscle’ Ultimately, a business doesn’t get built without a leader willing to build it - the leader willing to rise above the challenges of today and create opportunities for tomorrow. That's what we do at the Expert Intensive - work on our businesses together, inside a peer group that supports and encourages each other to win. This is the power of community. We can easily forget that our conditions are the catalyst for our circumstances. Learning to think different, to do different, to get different doesn’t always come easy. But when you change the conditions you change the outcomes. And who you choose to spend time with has a huge impact on who you become. Our environment is our container. Our peers shape our possibilities.
