Many top partners use MDF and/or rebates to decrease prices and drive smaller partners out of the market. Is this good for your business? It isn't necessarily bad. However, I do think that using Market Development Fund (MDF) for developing market share (it's in the name isn't it) is better than using MDF for pricing out smaller competitors. That's why I'm a bigger fan of proposal-based MDF than accrual-based MDF. You have a better overview of how efficient your partners' campaigns are AND you know it's not just being used to price smaller partners out. Very curious about your opinions and experiences. #channelpartners #MDF
