🥱 I'm tired of hearing "I think we're a perfect fit" from sales people before they've got down to the nitty gritty... I am in the process of selecting the right Cloud Services for a new #composableCommerce solution we're building for a client with highly unique requirements. And I've heard the above cookie-cutter response countless times this week. Yet, most have turned out quite the opposite after I've grilled them a little. What I prefer to hear is: ✅ "Let's dig a little deeper and see if we might be the right fit". A response like this builds far more trust. And just like these Cloud Services (despite what they may say), my agency is not the right fit for everyone either – but I put the work in to ensure those we onboard are; and am honest, turning down those who are not. Business is easier for everyone, with a little more transparency.
