⚡️🔔 UK Power Networks launches power cut notification service for EV drivers We’re thrilled to see UK Power Networks has officially launched the Powercast notification service after a successful trial with ev.energy's community of EV drivers in London, the South East, and East of England. Powered by UK Power Networks' power cut API, the service warns EV drivers in the rare case of a loss of power to minimize disruption. William Goldsmith, Director of Strategy and Innovation at ev.energy, said, “We successfully trialled Powercast with 94% of customers surveyed wanting to continue receiving power cut notifications beyond the trial. Working closely with UKPN, we’ve been able to develop a notification feature that not only simplifies charging for our existing customers but hopefully helps more people to make the switch to an EV with confidence.” Read more in Current News 👉 https://bit.ly/3TjwbuU #EVs #EVCharging #ElectricVehicles #Energy #EnergyTransition #EnergyGrid #Utilities
