Helping Investors Build Wealth & Make an Impact | CRE & Real Estate Investment Strategist | Impact Growth Fund Partner | Transforming Communities Through Impact Investing
The term “affordable housing” has been ruined. 90% of “affordable housing” in America is: → Being poorly maintained. → Providing a poor standard of living. → And is getting increasingly more expensive. Truthfully, I think this is completely unacceptable. Because no one should have to put up with such poor conditions. So at WMC we are trying to change this by creating affordable housing that: → Is actually affordable. → Provides a good standard of living. → And is well maintained & looked after. And much more! Because we believe just because housing is affordable… ↳ Doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a good standard of living. So, if you want to help us fix affordable housing, you’re in luck! Because last week we launched a new Impact Growth Fund with exactly that in mind. A Reg D 506(c) Fund for Accredited Investors that will: - Focus on making a positive impact - Specializing in green-focused buildings. - All while creating a large ROI for our investors. Apply here: https://lnkd.in/gWdaEz5p And help us change the state of affordable housing 🏡

We agree. To us, wealth is more than just money. It's about having freedom to live a life on your terms. This means good health, leisure time, strong relationships and – yes – enough funds to be comfortable without being chained to work. Ai Research | Policy | CSR & advocacy | aligning righteousness, for collective efforts in national goals & societal long-termist values for Millennials, GenZ, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, Zeta & GenEta
I recently came across a story where a father gifted his 13-year-old son 40 acres of land—an example that challenges prevailing narratives about generational wealth and opportunity. It’s these kinds of stories that inspire me and remind me of the importance of creating change, whether locally or globally. While I don’t want to claim any direct influence over this specific event, I can’t help but wonder if, through my work and the values I champion in corporate social responsibility (CSR), if it could quite confidently be assumed I’ve somehow played some small part in shaping a environment where such possibilities increasingly exist whilst working across sectors over more than 2 decades. CSR, after all, transcends borders. Whether in the UK or the States, the impact of promoting equity and opportunity resonates on a global scale. When you’re involved in various projects or initiatives, it can be difficult to gauge the true extent of your influence. This uncertainty may lead to an overestimation of one’s impact. I’d like to think that my time in the industry has contributed to positive change in some way. To avoid over-claiming influence, I’ve taken time to reflect on specific examples where I made tangible contributions. I’ve come to understand that a tangible contribution doesn’t always have to be monumental—it can be as simple as being consistent, speaking out, going above and beyond in your role or fostering positive relationships and negotiations . To ensure I’m presenting my achievements accurately, I’ve sought measurable self-assessment and external feedback from colleagues and collaborators. This approach helps me generate a more comprehensive and accurate picture of my impact. In the end, whether change is the result of a personal victory or a collective effort, it’s still progress breaking down inequalities and systemic biases that harm us all I am not saying raise spoilt kids either, strong charecter is of high value, but I like seeing such a volume of turn around scenarios and new stories emerge which contrast the former entrenched narratives, showing that the world can, has, and will continue to change for the better in ways that enable regular people to live their regular lives withought barriers thrown in front of them Some people hold beliefs that their success depends primarily on others not being able to succeed, as if there’s only so much room at the top. This mindset leads to unnecessary competition, roadblocks, & creation of barriers that shouldn’t exist Or bow lakes, remnants of a path that could have been connected But success doesn’t have to be at someone else’s expense. There are many forms of success, and one person’s achievements don’t take away from another’s potential, seeing others as threats etc Win-win & win-win-win’s exist, look them up. It’s never wise to leave the destiny of your children to chance we should understand that collaboration and collective progress can elevate everyone. #ExamplesToFollow
Never wait for them to give us our 40 acres! Faheem Muhammad, an entrepreneur from Los Angeles, gifted his son something quite valuable for his 13th birthday: 40 acres of land. Muhammad, the co-founder of a real estate investment company, says that he bought 198 acres of land in 2021 to get away from city life. He said his mother, Aminah Muhammad, taught him and his siblings the importance of owning property and contributing to society when they were children. So, when his son turned 13 on March 16, he gave him a 40-acre portion of the property to teach him the importance of land ownership and building generational wealth. Muhammad’s company, Oasis Investment Group, buys and rebuilds properties in the South Side of Chicago. The company also educates about homeownership and teaches these skills to other Los Angeles children.
